Girl or Boy?

Wellllll me and Lance went to our doctor appointment for our little bun and I asked the doc if there's anyway to get an ultrasound to see if we could see if it was a boy or girl. And since I wasn't quite 18 weeks yet and I wasn't supposed to have an ultrasound this appointment I knew there was still a chance we wouldn't be able to! Buttttt, they said we could look, but that there was no guarantee of being able to find out. So after a few minutes of looking around and pushing on the babe she finally gave us a shot of what looks like a GIRL! and even though the doctor said she was glad that I was having another ultrasound to make sure, she still said she was 85% sure it was a girl. So we're just going with that, until we have the next ultrasound to confirm! We already have her cute name picked out (which we have for a couple years now) and ALMOST bought her first cute wittle outfit!

Anyways, I'm down in AZ now with family while Lance is gone for the next couple weeks and then he'll come join me when he gets back for about a week and then were heading back to Cali. We decided a few days ago that we aren't going to keep our apartment while he's gone so the few weeks that we have left before he deploys we'll be packin' up and movin' out! Which I'm more happy about, than not. I definitely won't miss our loud neighbors, that nasty smell that travels from the Jack in the Box and peoples food, and our tiny kitchen, but that house was still good to us other than that!

- The organized freeways and streets
- Having people around all the time
- Quick Trip


Things I don't miss
- Hot weather
- Not having my own house
- The fact that my husbands not here
- Knowing almost at least one person everywhere I go so I can only look a little bit like a bum rather than a complete bum when running to the store

Family, friends and randoms

This past weekend Lance's family came to visit again and I was so excited to see them and see all our nieces (and unfortunately not our nephew, but I'll see him in a few weeks). It was a relaxing weekend, but it was still a lot of fun. They got here Saturday afternoon and us kids went to the beach for a few hours then came back and I made my family's tacos for them for dinner. Sunday we went to church then headed down to Seaport Village and there was a "Festival of Sails" and there was a bunch of little stands selling all kinds of cool things. We walked probably about 4 miles so we were all pooped by the time we were done so we headed back home and I made some white chili for them and we all just hung out and played games at our house. Monday we went to breakfast then headed off to the beach, but it wasn't exactly beach weather. It was sprinkling, windy, and foggy so I was wrapped up in a jacket and towel the whole time. After we got enough of the cold weather we came home showered the little girls and I gave them haircuts and they were off! I was sad to see them go, but I'll see them all in just a few weeks.

But this weekend my friend Taylor Harvey is coming to stay with me, and I couldn't be more excited! We're both going to be cute prego mommies together, well technically we already are haha. I wish she was staying a little longer than she is, but I'll take anything I can get. We're going to go to the Zoo and talk babies, and pregnancy together. Not to mention, we crack each other up. I'm not sure what it is about us, but we're always laughing about one thing or another and I'm looking forward to seeing what funny memories we'll make this weekend!

Anyways, the babes is continuing to do well. I'm not showing yet or anything and I didn't/don't have any kind of morning/day/night sickness (which I am soooo incredibly grateful for!) so I don't necessarily "forget" that I'm pregnant, but I think once my belly starts to show it will really hit me and I'll really feel prego.

A couple things I love and miss about Lance:

- I can eat a Hostess cupcake or a Zinger and eat just the cake part and he'll eat the frosting.

- How I'll make cookies, cake, or any other kind of dessert after dinner and it's basically just for him, or at least that's how it's been lately because I don't have much of a sweet tooth especially since being pregnant.

- The random funny things we do to each other

- How sometimes something really not funny will for some reason make me laugh so hard that I can't keep it in and I'll try holding it in, but will just end up bursting into laughter over and over and sometimes he'll start laughing with me and it makes it even more funny to me or he'll just look at me weird and tell me that it's not even funny.

- He's cuddles

- The little things he does that he probably doesn't even know I pay attention to or think anything of, that show me he loves me.

- The fact that he's my best friend

- ...Everything thing about him

Theres actually a lot more that I could add to this list, but I decided not to for a few specific reasons :]

Look at this beauty! USS Makin Island! or also known as Lance's ship and where he spends all his time when he's not with me! Sometimes it's also referred to as a big pile of metal..but thats only on bad days which I feel we don't have very many of, they're more "I miss you" type of days. I'm actually very proud of Lance and his service and all the hard work he does and thankful to the military, and proud to be apart of it. Especially when I look at a picture like this that a few years ago I'd probably not really pay attention to or even see unless it was on T.V or in a magazine for some reason and now takes a big part in my life and I take pride in.

On an ending note, just to let you all know...
