Babe

Yesterday me and Lance went to the Doctor and was able to lay our eyes on our little peanut for the first time!

He or She is already pretty dang cute if you ask me! Squirming around everywhere! Even the doctor giggled and said he/she is pretty active! hahah I've been excited ever since we first found out we had a bun in the oven, but as more and more time goes by I get more and more excited! And even though the original plan was to wait until Lance got back from deployment so he could be here when the little one arrives, and I still wish he was...but I'm also grateful for the fact that I'll have something to keep me busy for the last few months before Lance returns and that I'll have half of Lance here with me! Plus it's going to make Lance's homecoming that much more special!

So after Lances wonderful return home from two whole long weeks away he came home with a new routine. It consisited of being up all night working and then sleeping throughout the day and it took him a couple nights to get back on track. Hahaha there was a few nights we went to bed rather early thinking it was later and then woke up in the middle of the night thinking it was about to be morning or his alarm was going to be going off soon, just to look at our phones and see that it was only 1:30 in the morning! The first night it happened I stayed awake for a little bit, but since I wasn't used to this routine I fell back to sleep just to wake up an hour or so later to hear Lance down stairs and smell something cooking and fall back to sleep then wake up when I felt him get back in bed and hear him say he has to get up in a half hour to go to work! He literally stayed up all night! Then the next night it happened again except this time at 1:30 I felt like I had been asleep all night and could not go back to bed and he's the one that rolled over after a while of being awake to fall back to sleep and I just laid there for a while trying to sleep. Hahah we'd lay there laughing about random things, or turn the T.V on to do our nightly routine over again before we fall asleep. I secretly enjoyed those middle of the night conversations.

Currently:
-not liking the fact that Lance has duty on a day the rest of the ship has off.
-watching crime t.v shows such as : Law&Order:SVU and NCIS
-wanting more yogurt
-loving the idea that me and Lance are taking a miniature road trip tomorrow somewhere north to find a yummy place to eat that we haven't tried.
-hoping Lance gets the first leave period in October
-thinking that probably no one reads our blog, haha
-and always am, grateful for the man I'm married to and our relationship, and the little one growing in my tummy
-loving the song below, seriously listen, I don't know or care if his voice really sounds like that or not.

Wouldn't you like to know

Monday is 2 days away! Which makes me a verrrryy happy girl for a few reasons
-Mr. Right will finally be home!
-We're going to go eat at a super yummy restaurant! (maybe Tuesday..but I'm still excited)
-No more days of too much TV.
-This handsome boy that I love is coming home.
-I'll cook and actually make full meals again
-No more sleeping in a big bed by myself.
-Did I mention Lance will be home??

So in celebration of him being home here are 10 things you probably wouldn't know about us
1. We play words with friends, even when we're sitting in the same room.
2. If we're watching TV together theres a 98.3453% chance either Swamp people, Auction Wars, or Diners Drive-ins and Dives is on.
3. If you were a fly on the wall while we're sitting at home, you'd probably be entertained.
4. We're pretty content just sitting at home with food and watching TV/ Movies.
5. Since the first day we started texting, there hasn't been a day we've gone without texting excluding the days there was a reason we couldn't such as: boot camp, underways, no service, no phone.
6. There's not very many things one of us likes and the other doesn't or things we're complete opposite about, but a few examples would be he likes cheese cake, I don't. I like chocolate ice cream, he likes vanilla. I sleep with multiple pillows, he sleeps with one. He's always warm or hot, while I'm always freezing.
7. We want to have a family that's a little more on the larger side, but not too large. 5ish kids.
8. We always spend more money than planned when we go shopping together
9. In my opinion, we never really had a "newlywed stage" because to me our whole relationship has felt that way and I don't think it'll ever really be different.
10. I've never met someone that made me laugh so much, make me feel like I was less weird than, be my best friend, or made me so happy, in my life.

another change!

As me and lance embark on this journey of life together we are at a new and exciting stage! We've known for about 6 weeks or so, but waited until we had an appointment with the doc just to make sure and confirm everything and it has been confirmed! We are having a cute little baby Hutchins! And we couldn't be more excited!
This is what my morning and snacks contain.. Fruit, water (actually an all day thing and lots of it), and prenatals..that taste so gross, especially the grey-ish/light brown ones and then the yellow ones smell like fish, not surprisingly because they're fish oil.

I'm going to take a minute to brag about a handsome husband. He seriously is like the funniest person I know, I'm sitting here LOLing just thinking about the things he says and does. He's honestly my best friend in this world, and our relationship is so cute. I'm so lucky to have him in my life, he's constantly helping me learn and grow in so many ways while being the joy in my life.

Current loves:
-fruit
-sandwiches
-lettuce
-Keeping up with the Kardashians
-water
-Teen Mom
-Law and Order:SVU
-My bed
-Brushing my teeth
-Lance's big hoodies
-DVR
-the fact that my families might be visiting next week

Things I'm currently not appreciating:
-Our super loud neighbors (their blasting their loud bumping bass music right now as I type this)
-headaches
-my super sensitive nose

and I think that's about it!

well enough of my ramblings!
:]
